The three-day powwow, the last outdoor powwow of the season, attracts dancers, singers and drummers from across Canada and the United States to enjoy the powwow, friends and family, and to compete for cash prizes. Between the competitors and spectators, usually 3,000 to 5,000 people come through Flying Dust Powwow over the course of the event.

Food vendors will be on hand with a variety of offerings to satisfy your appetite; Those interested in First Nation’s textiles and outfits can visit the art booths selling jewelry, clothing, crafts and blankets.
