Join us Saturday, September 25th for a day of exploring and connecting to the Opimihaw Valley and each other.

Guided Programs:

11 am - Bison Walk to Bison Viewing Platform
12 pm - Performance of "In Memorial" by Curtis Peeteetuce

1 pm - Plant Walk with Ethnobotanist Sandra Walker
2 pm - Dance Presentation with Men's Prairie Chicken Dancer
3 pm - Archaeology Walk with Chief Archaeologist and Founding Board Member, Dr. E. Walker 4 pm - Bison Walk to Bison Viewing Platform

Enjoy our new exhibits, art galleries, art demonstration, award winning playground, and walk any of the 7 KM of trails - ask our guides which trail is best for your family.

Birch Bark Basket Making Workshop presented by Remai Moderns Lyndon J. Linklater. Limited seats open every hour from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Each workshop will last 30 minutes each and will require registration on the day.

Starting September 25th, 2021 Wanuskewin is pleased to welcome artisans back to our new paskwaw Round every month. The Indigenous Artisan Market showcases Indigenous Artists, Artisan, & Entrepreneurs in and around our community.
