Whitecap Dakota First Nation is leading a Dakota Language Gathering from May 21 – 22, 2019 in Saskatoon, SK. This years theme is: Stronger Together. Bringing together Indigenous speakers, Elders, educators, researchers, and Indigenous language experts from across Western North America to share language revitalization strategies.
The Dakota Language Revitalization Gathering includes workshops, presentations, keynote speakers, a trade show, a banquet and cultural performances.
