Home Is a Beautiful Word

A revival of the Belfry Theatre production

Collected and edited by Joel Bernbaum

Directed by Michael Shamata

Part of Persephone Theatre's Deep End Series

April 12 to 21, 2018 at The Broadway Theatre, Tickets: $28

Local playwright/journalist Joel Bernbaum travelled to Victoria, B.C. and interviewed over 500 people to create a portrait of homelessness. We hear from the housed, the homeless, and those who are “one paycheque away” from the street. Enlightening, funny, and moving, this documentary play provides a kaleidoscopic view of an issue present in every Canadian city.

Please join us after every show for a post show discussion sponsored by United Way, and on these special nights for a Points of View panel discussing homelessness in Saskatchewan:
