The National Indigenous Media Arts Coalition (NIMAC) in partnership with the Independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA) is pleased to announce the annual conference, June 12-15, 2018 in Saskatoon, SK. Entitled Listen, Witness, Transmit, it will feature roundtables, workshops, performances, exhibitions and screenings.

The conference will take place at Wanuskewin Heritage Park, approximately 15 minutes from the city, and at various Saskatoon programming venues, such as Aka Artist Run Center and Paved Arts.

Each day there will be a practice highlighted: the first day - listening, the second day - witnessing, and the third day - transmitting to create a dynamic of Indigenous trajectories, resilience and relationships through the art, the community and the collective. The National Indigenous Media Arts Coalition’s (NIMAC) priority is to support, promote, and advocate for Indigenous media artists and arts organizations within the context of Canadian media arts practices.
