In recognition of Aboriginal Storytelling Month, the Office of the Treaty Commissioner invites you to attend a FREE to the public storytelling session on Zoom on Feb. 23, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

The Importance of Storytelling and Oral Traditions with Lyndon J. Linklater

Lyndon J Linklater is a traditional knowledge keeper and storyteller. He has worked for the Office of the Treaty Commissioner as a Speakers’ Bureau member since he was appointed in 2000. Since that time, he has spoken to well over 75,000 people, delivering awareness and enlightenment on Treaties and Indigenous cultures. He is a powerful story teller that utilizes First Nations teachings that involve knowledge of ceremonies and incorporates humour to deliver a poignant message.
