The Treaty Elder Series is being hosted by St. Joseph's Parish in Saskatoon on Sunday, Feb. 4 and Feb. 11 following the 11 a.m. Mass.

Coming out of the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, this event offers the audience the opportunity to simply listen and experience the richness of Indigenous Spirituality and Culture. This educational event will focus on enhancing our awareness and understanding of Treaty History, and Indigenous Spiritual life from the perspective of community Elders.

Community elders will share their own experience and perspective along with Lyndon Linklater offering an introduction into Treaty history. These presentations are arranged through the Office of the Treaty Commissioner. Myron Rogal will represent the Diocesan Council for Truth and Reconciliation

This event will include a modest lunch (soup and bannock) hosted by St. Josephs' Parish Hall.
