The Office of the Treaty Commissioner is sharing this announcement from the Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations.

"The Confederacy of the Treaty Six First Nations is calling for the unification of Treaty Six Territory.

It was state at the Fort Pitt Gathering that a Treaty Six Chiefs Assembly will be held on Nov. 3, 4, 5, at the River Cree in Enoch Cree Nation, AB.

Grand Chief Billy Morin had invited all the Chiefs from Treaty Six in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He has also committed to involving Treaty Six peoples who are interested in attending, please stay tuned.

There will be a ceremony held to begin this work."
