Throughout the pandemic, staff at the Office of the Treaty Commissioner continue to meet using online technology. Each week the team meets to check in on work and life while dealing with COVID-19.

The staff is also using the time to further our knowledge and understand of Treaty and history in the Treaty territory of Saskatchewan. In May we heard from Aaron Tootoosis, member of the OTC Speakers bureau, about the history of the Battle of Cut Knife Hill. We also heard from speakers bureau member Cort Dogniez when he shared his teachings about the Role of the Métis in Treaty making.
