Office of the Treaty Commissioner staff headed back to school last week. Treaty Commissioner of Saskatchewan Mary Culbertson and researcher Lissa Morin talked with students from Grade 9 to 12 at Yorkton Regional High School.

They spoke on the Treaty relationship, Indian Residential Schools, the Indian Act, as well as intergenerational trauma and how it affects mental health.

The two days of presentations was particularly appreciated by Culbertson, as Yorkton Regional is her old high school.
