The inaugural "Kinship Market: Spring-Pop" is being hosted at White Buffalo Youth Lodge on Saturday April 20th, 2024.
The organizers of the 'Kinship Market,' promise a commitment to community, mutual support, and understanding for a better way forward. This idea is rooted in our cultures of collectivism as a 2-spirit Plains Cree artist and a queer Vietnamese-Chinese artist. Our hope is to create an intentionally anti-oppressive market space, prioritizing IBPOC, 2slgbtqia+, and vendors with disabilities. We believe each event is an opportunity to connect, practice mutual aid, and demonstrate care for one another.
