You are warmly invited to attend a special interfaith service celebrating National Aboriginal Day on Sunday June 18 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John’s Cathedral. This invitation is being extended to aboriginal, civic and community leaders, as well as various faith-based communities and the citizens of Saskatoon. It is our hope that we can gather on this important day as we prayerfully give thanks for the good work of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and commit ourselves to ongoing healing and relationshipbuilding in our community.

At this service St. John's Cathedral will be blessing and installing a Treaty 6 plaque, recognizing the land on which the Cathedral was built 100 years ago. Elders Maria and Walter Linklater will be smudging, offering prayers and teachings, and Bishop David Irving will be joining them to bless and install this plaque.

For more information please call 306-242-5146.
