Resilience in Traditions
Friday February 12th at 11:30-1:00pm
Gordon Oakes Red Bear
Resiliency refers to the capacity of a person to seek wellbeing in their own lives after adversity and hardship. It can stem from many places and is experienced by many people. This panel will showcase people from different cultures, backgrounds and ages, where they gain their resiliency and traditions in their lives.
The panel and audience will answer questions like:
How were you taught to deal with stressful situations in your life by your family? What do you do in stressful times to seek wellbeing, what traditions ground you?
What does resiliency mean to you in your own context?
How do you maintain traditions in your own life?
When you were a student or on a learning journey, how did you handle the stress?
