The Treaty Commissioner of Saskatchewan, Mary Culbertson, attended the ordination Reverend Chris Harper to the Anglican Bishop of Saskatoon on Nov. 17.

He is the first ever Indigenous bishop to the dioceses.

The event at St. John’s Anglican church started with a smudging ceremony outside, before prayers, ceremony and commemoration.

The OTC was pleased to attend the historic event.
