The University of Saskatchewan College of Nursing is looking for applications to be submitted before May 1 for their reconciliation award.

The Dr. Gerri Dickson Leadership in Reconciliation Award is designed to recognize College of Nursing students for their leadership in furthering reconciliation between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Canada, in line with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Calls to Action.

There is one, $2500 award to be given.

The award is open to continuing nursing students in the college with good standing.

Applicants will need to submit a one-page description outlining their leadership activities and contributions to the area of reconciliation, for example participating in reconciliation events, leadership and/or volunteering in a cross cultural organization or initiative.
