The Office of the Treaty Commissioner knows that reconciliation needs to be happening year-round, and the recognition of the impacts of residential schools needs to be remembered and acknowledged after Sept. 30. With this in mind staff at the OTC will continue to wear orange on the last Friday of every month.

The Treaty Commissioner of Saskatchewan invites you to join us. Starting Friday, Nov. 26, the OTC is joining other organizations across the city and province in wearing orange. It can be an orange shirt, orange scarf, earrings, hat, pin, the idea is to wear orange. It represents the recognition of those impacted by residential school and allows us to stand in solidarity with Survivors. We must never forget why we wear orange - it represents an important day of remembrance!
